Welcome to Jennifer and her knitting blog. She has managed to do some nice things with locally available yarn.
The Jerusaknit Blog has exited for a while, but we haven’t done much. I think it is time for us to give something to the community. I’ve picked a worthy charity, and I’m making a suggestion. If you have the time to knit one more project this January, here is my idea:
The Crossroads Center in Jerusalem is an organization for Anglo at-risk teens. Some of them have received donations recently of new winter coats. I’d like to add to this by making hats/scarves/gloves/mittens to keep them warm this winter. Assume adult sizes (heads don’t change much from about age 4 and up) and generic colors so that we don’t have to worry about too many for boys/girls.
If you have another charity which you would like to support, let me know and we will do them in the future.
After seeing this post at Yarn Boy Throwing Out the Old . . ., I thought of how sometimes stash busting doesn’t always work out.

E.S. is better at it than most….maybe she will allow herself to buy yarn again!
